The Situation: Our client a major company in bio-technology required a partner with a proven track record of success to manage their Hitachi and HP
StorageWorks storage environment.
The Challenge: The Company was operating on a very lean IT staff with multi terabyte storage. Routine storage administration and narrow downtime windows were a challenge for the IT staff. The client was looking for a strategic partner to assess the storage, report utilization, improve performance and out-task the routine storage administration while reducing the operational costs.
The Response:
i3’s Infrastructure practice team recommended a Storage assessment tool which would do complete storage profiling while working across heterogeneous storage. i3 recommended SLA based managed service model that would reduce the operational cost significantly.
